today stacy and i spent all the lessons:

1) learning from S'pore's 4million smiles campaign. we've started a new one: 4million smileys campaign! we've 52 so far, so 3 999 948 more to go!
2) writing a story that involved me, giraffe and clay, and loads and loads of songs. it was like a soap opera cum musical! oh my, we're so talented.

our new game: finding lyrics that describe your mood for today.

i didn't talk about cac'06 so i shall now.

i just. blah.

we weren't really disappointed because of the results, since winning really isn't anything [check: fd com '06]. it was more of something else.

the attitude, i guess.

i cannot believe that i and luvy had to be scared shitless that we won't even make it into the finals.

i cannot believe luvy had to be so worried about everything, whether they would be disqualified for being late or whether they have this and that, when she shouldn't need to.

i cannot believe we had to run to the canteen to sit out the first round, because we didn't want to see the judges judge.

but most of all, i cannot believe we think RI deserved to win.

their presentors had horrible pronunciation and i'm quite sure they failed their english orals, but. you could actually see the effort put in, amongst everything else.

i hope they feel vindicated, because- oh God im going to hate myself for saying this- they deserved it.

it's times like this that make us wonder what we've been doing the past 10 months.

when we walked to the lrt station, me luvy wai saw this quote:

and... maybe that's what we've been doing wrong.

i still remember when HQ said we could only send in 1 team, so i had to call up people to see if they really wanted to be in cac because not everyone could be.

there were so many promises to do their best, promises to be totally devoted because they really wanted to be in the competition.

i'm sorry, but i'm not convinced anymore.

yesterday i returned home, ate my dinner and went to get a nap, planning to wake up an hour later...

... and i woke up the next day ): actually my parents forced me to wake up cos i had music lessons. then i went home and fell asleep again. ><

bwahhh this week is seriously killer. time! i need time! to sleep to eat to studyyyyy! ):

PS did anyone see yesterday's newspapers! in home pg10 and review pg 12! haha RHEA'S ON IT. she got 4th for the commonwealth essay! but actually she submitted it through her bengali school, COS RGS DIN SEND HERS IN. tsk, their bad. but its quite unfair isnt it, that the newspapers kept harping on the fact that she's from rgs, and never mentioned that rgs didnt submit hers in?

TODAY.

was quite a horrible day ):

well not really. actually it was quite nice la.

i and stacy taped the whole of ms lee's lesson! and i don't think she realised, LOL. okayy no we're not going to post it on youtube or something... we just took it cos we wanted to capture some funny moments. bio is ALWAYS funny.

and we did!

OMG ms lee is so cute, you know? (x we got this part where she made a funny face at the class!

after school we had to rush to tampines for fitting with our model! for our fashion design competition. but cos we had to go the HCI to find yen and get her costume, and the meeting was at 2pm, we din make it -.-

so the guy told us to go to cityhall to wait for our model.

and gosh our model is damn CHIO. and she is so nice! she smiled at us even after we made her wait at tampines for 1 hour, and she kept saying 'thanks' and never even made a funny face at our horrible costumes.

AND SHE'S 180M o.O and really really skinny.

the biggest shock we got was when she asked us how old we were. we said 16 and she said she was 16 too! O.O she totally looked 20? we were like 12 year old midgets next to her ):

like ohmyGod today was totally my best-est birthday EVERR (:

i love my yearmates and my classmates and my brothers and my parents! <3 everyone was sooo sweet and cool.

today is the day of DOUBLES.

today morning, BECCA woke the whole school bus AND asked them to sing a birthday song for me! haha it was damn maluating, because i don't know like 9/10ths of them, aaaand because they just woke up then were mumbling out the song =P but omg becca i am in AWE. i am embarrassed, but in awe (x i love youuu!

then we reached school and and i found a really nicely wrapped present left on my table! from RHEA. it was perfume from FRANCE hahaha! then my groupofsix were like spraying and trying it, lol. thankyou rhea! for being such a great friend! and i love your food, you always have nice food (:

then AGRI also gave me a cool present! it was a REALLY nice bracelet! <3 thankyou agri!

haha then my YEARMATES came into my class. all grinning and smug. and then jess flashed a HMV plastic bag and i was like, omg is that what i think it is. and it WAS. they got me clay's measureofaman cd, SPECIAL EDITION! i was like lsjfjkfl;nv;aGod <3<3 and leech got me a birthday card that was really sweet and cute!! thankyou leech! shihua printed some pictures of clay, BUT being the mean person she is she just couldn't resist putting that scandalous picture in. GRR. i am so going to paste a white piece of paper on it, haha! YEARMATES YOU GUYS ROCK. even though you all made snide comments about arm hair and perverts, I STILL LOVE YOU GUYS! ((:

oh when i went back to my seat stacy told me she almost got me his cd too! HAHA.

throughout the day, my little groupofsix (STACE BECCA MARESE CHRISTINE GIRAFFE) were acting reeeeeaally sneaky and all. like everytime i went to find rhea, they'd huddle together and sneak glances at me. (i noticed, darlings. you guys were soo obvious (:)

and then CLE! the class was trying to postpone CLE lesson, so they started singing me a birthday song: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JIEEENINGGGGGGGGGGGG- and they held the NGGG for like, 5minutes. and after that they started singing the chinese version too! for another 5 minutes, HAHA! mr yang was like banging the whiteboard and trying to get us to get on, already. loll! THANKS 401 (:

lunchhh. my group forced me to stay back in class. then becca made me come with her to get a lighter. rhea tried to borrow one from the kitchens and the guy was like, 'ARSON' and refused to lend her! lol. but becca managed to get one from the physics lab. aaaand then we went back into class, and after a while stacy marese christine walked in with omg my BIRTHDAY CAKE.

they bought chocolate cake from bengawansolo! i am soooo touched.

we lit the candles and i blew them and we took pictures and everything then ate up the cake. actually they wanted me to bring home half of the cake, but my mom was also going to get me a cake so we finished it! haha my mom told me she'd be getting the coffee cake, so i thought YAY i have chocolate cake and coffee cake!

oh and shushu sang me a love song. she went horribly out of tune, i recorded it on my handphone lol. her lyrics went like that:

and went with hung to the library!

then i came back home. aaaaaaaaaand my brothers came into my room! okay it was damn funny.

my YOUNGER BROTHER was looking all smug and everything. and he was like, 'ning guess what i got you.' and i was like, oh shiiiiit. oh shit don't tell me. '... clay?'

and it WAS. o.O

HAHAHAHA.

but omg my brother is so sweet. he was terribly disappointed when i showed him my yearmates', cos they got the special edition one (includes poster + promotional cd!) and it looked alot thicker than his. then i told him a few thousand people were sharing that (no offense yearmates!), and he was 'oh cheh' hahahaha ^^

so now i have 2 of his cds. LOL.

and my KOR got me COLOURED PASTELS from artfriends! they are damn ex, can!! o.O i was dkjdwkgnlkernviwlenfghhhs-

my MUM got me new earrings! on top of my new wallet and a new shirt from my DAD (:

today was a horrid day.

i had insomnia for practically half the night before, thanks to some disgusting crap picture of worms on a person that i just found out today was photoshopped.

and then we get back our geog poster and our whole class got such low marks. and it wasnt even our fault. no, not even a little. i blame it all on pang. let's not talk about it.

went to hq to get some stuff, then found out that they weren't free. o.O so i had to have leech and xue come over with like 100++ bucks to save me, haha.

found out some stuff was screwed, but thankfully we have some hope at the moment.

went back to school with xue and leech to check fa kits around school.

and then i came home and now i have no energy to do anything.

i'm so dead tired, all i want to do is cry ):

4) our class is sooo loud and boisterous! and we love throwing/slinging stuff halfway across rooms, in front of teachers.
5) me, dinky and agri went out to eat lunch, and when we were sharing ice kachang i made a joke and agri snorted syrup all over my face ): HAHA but i was racially tolerant so i didn't sock her in the face or anything. ^^ she is extremely lucky it's racial harmony day, and i made the Racial Harmony Pledge in the morning.

i wrote an entry that was praising mabel to the skies but it got deleted. *shrugs* HAHA too bad.

but suffice to say mabel is a PRO x3048505204 pianist.

oh and i'm one extremely lucky person. sort of.

my chinese pt was actually FINE!

thats pretty amazing for this term- good math, good chinese, good physics, very good ss grades! <3 of course these are RELATIVELY good grades, not necessarily really good, so. haha?

but they pulled my gpa up 3 or 4 times so i'm not complaining. ^^

feeling out of sorts lately. ): giraffe's a really horrible spsl. she couldn't even do anything except say 'what's wrong, distressed person?? come, tell me your troubles.' all through geog and physics. LOL. this was how she tried to, ER, counsel me.

giraffe: i'm supposed to sit so we're a V shape and i can see you. then i'm supposed to repeat everything you say.

open house!

last open house ): hahahaha. okayyy its last EVERYTHING.

but its the first openhouse i didn't stay for all the shifts ): i and shee had to go get cloth for our nats day dress thingy.

while we were walking somewhere between bugis and arab street we found this REALLY COOL place! eh parkview square or something. its damn cool la. its this huge building with a huge garden, and in the garden are many many bronze statues of famous people. like churchill and salvador dali and beethovan and plato and whatever. and then there was a gigantic golden sculpture of a stork in the middle of the garden.

haha we kept walking round and round looking at the statues until we saw a security guard walking out of the cool building so we quickly ran away ^^

bleh. pretty tired lately, thanks to everything >< but this week's been quite a great week! i actually did pretty well for math and ss tests! thank God x20485052385. um but i think i screwed up chinese pt, but i don't expect to do well in that anyway :D

argh, i HATE music theory. my teacher's going to make me take grade8 but i don't even know how to do the paper ): hahaha i took grade7 without even knowing how many flats/sharps is what key (i agar-ed my way through the paper =P)

i can't wait for EVERYTHING to end.

i am still very sad. ):

NEVER read newspaper articles on ballack and on germany's loss. they are sooo depressing and mean to ballack *angry look* and the picture of lahm being comforted by oliver kahn and klinnsman was sooooooo heartbreaking ):

anyway um something less depressing? school is boring nowadays. cos i'm going to school stoned and depressed and exhausted cos of the lack of sleep and i can hardly concentrate ><

best lesson to sleep in: ss. you can sleep through the whole thing and barely miss a thing
worst lesson to sleep in: chem. omg do you know how hard it is to stay awake in chem? i keep falling asleep without even realising it until i suddenly jerk awake. its sooo scary WHAT IF I GET CAUGHT BY BEANIE O.O
best lesson to stone in: philo! um okay big irony. but in philo you can still stone and crap some logic up
worst lesson to stone in: math >< i even forgot what differentiation was for.
lesson i can always stay awake in: ENGRIIISH. am i sooo glad we got ms yeo. or i might start falling asleep in english as well, how sacrilegious
lesson i never fail to fall asleep in: ss. wow! azahar's lesson got the 2 worst spots here why am i not surprised? haha. but he always tells us the last 10 mins is free time, so i guess um it was his OK for me to fall asleep (: since the middle of second term i cannot remember a single ss lesson i've had that i havent fallen asleep in at the end. and you can count in 1/3 to 1/2 of 401 as well [depending on the importance of the lesson (:].

i am TIRED.

GERMANY LOST.

and i fell asleep in the second half before ~~stupid~~ italy scored. ))):

i was totally oblivious as to who won in the morning. there were 2 girls saying italy won behind me when i was walking up to class but i was like, THEY'RE JUST JEALOUS omg im sure germany won.

then i stepped into class and asked rhea at the door who won. she said italy and i was O.O

me (wails): I FELL ASLEEP IN THE SECOND HALF

england vs portugal!

sorry wai, but england was rather horrible this time round :/ okay they had the worst of luck. no owen, no beckham, no rooney.

BUT STILL.

the goalkeeper was quite bad! ): i thought he played as badly as argentina's reserve goalkeeper. and lampard never scored a single goal this whole world cup. not even in the PENALTY SHOOTOUTS. like omg how is that possible?!

but i thought portugal was worse, since they were playing against 10 people and they couldnt even manage to score a goal. and they actually missed the goalpost for the penalty shootouts!!! like TWICE. and if they hadnt missed the goalpost they'd have definitely gotten the balls in since the idiot goalkeeper jumped the wrong side. -.-

brazil vs france!

i am quite surprised france beat brazil but from what i saw last night [or this morning] france definitely played alot better :/

the brazillians were sooo rough.

(and none of them were good. not even ronaldinho or kaka.)

actually argentina probably played a little better. (only a little (:) and luck wasnt on their side in the penalty round cos their goalkeeper was a reserve. ><

but still! germany is AMAZING especially their cool goalkeeper lehmann! and ballack! (dawn you din see this)

i think everyone was in shock when klose headed that goal in the last 10 mins ^^ well i was. i was like oh shit germs are going to lose and its going to be my fault. haha. it was damn nervewrecking especially since argentina kept wasting time during the last 20mins and i almost threw something at the screen.

everytime argentina got the ball near germs' goalpost i'd get extremely frantic and my younger brother was kind of amused.
