9:13 PM

Omg WHY are the takethat reunion tour tickets £100+++??? No one else but me should like takethat, because they're an old cheesy boyband and only I am cool enough to be a fan without being a loser. GRR.

1:40 PM

Ugh we really spend wayyyy too much time on our house!

We decided that our house needed a blender to make nice smoothies, so we happily ordered a cheap one off argos (please don't ever do that it's lousy). Then we woke up early to collect it at the holborn store... only to find out that the store only opened 1.5hours later :/

Anyway yes the blender sucked balls hahaha we spent like an hour trying to blend our apples, and realised we had to cube the apples into tiny pieces before it would take. And there was wayyy too much pulp anyways which we spent forever straining out D: zz. Looks like we aren't going to be drinking healthy juices too often.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING :D Totally cannot wait. Argos has damn cheap trees and lights which we are totally going to get :D :D Yayyy and we'll play christmas songs through the house and eat candy canes and have stuffed turkey for christmas dinner! And yes I realise christmas is not for 2 more months lol it's not even halloween yet (tomorrow!) BUT HOW EXCITING IS CHRISTMAS. The thought of it was so joyous that we sang christmas carols while walking home hahaha

We are damn lame and I'm totally not doing work zz

12:34 PM

I just spent 15 minutes in the toilet trying to put on my contacts. The first time I put them on everything seemed wrong, so I took them out again and put it back in. When that didn't work I inverted them, and it was painfully worse.

After a few more attempts at putting them back in and out, with me becoming increasingly perplexed as to what was wrong, it suddenly struck me that I could be wearing the contacts on the wrong sides. So I tentatively tested my new hypothesis... God no wonder the right side was so clear and the left was so hazy.

NEVER remind me I study at the LSE.

Why audrey is a bad bad influence:

"heyyyy you know what, I feel like shopping.. I need boots..."
"... where're you thinking of going?"
"Oh the aldo outlet store at camden! But hmm you have lecture later at 5..."
"Well... I finished the readings already so I don't actually need to go... but we're not supposed to shop anymore!!"
"But we really REALLY need boots! It's getting cold, we can't wear flats."
"Yeah and it's rainy."
"Yes! It's not like we're buying for fun. We really need boots. Really. It's a necessity."
"And there's nothing nice online, I was looking just now."
"OKAY that's it. We're going to camden!!"

1:14 PM

And I'm trying to believe in things I didn't know;
The turning of the world, the colour of your soul.

11:40 AM

Can't wait for halloween weekend! (:

Since edds won't be around, auds and I are going to bake awesome brownies, watch a movie and make sushi that's supposed to last us the week's lunch hee hee

12:19 AM

Today both edds and audreys' 15kg care packages arrived from sg, full of goodies like instant mee, primataste mixes, sauces and all sorts of singaporean stuff. We very happily unpacked everything and stuffed it on our kitchen shelf because seriously, we have so much food in our kitchen there wasn't anywhere else to put it. I think if there was any bomb scares and we had to be locked at home, we'd be able to last at a few months just eating what we have in the kitchen :/ Anyhow apparently the poor kitchen shelf couldn't take the crazy load of foodstuffs because it suddenly came crashing down on the floor at night, viciously ripping out 2 of the 4 screws holding it to the wall D: eddison and I spent 2 hours packing everything back and uh trying to superglue the shelf back on hahaha because we felt damn bad calling the landlord down again (he came a few days ago to check us out cos auds kept getting weird bites and the boots salesgirl said she thought it was bedbugs, but we're rather certain it isnt, it's more likely mosquito bites! We killed an extra monstrous mosquito a week ago. But it's still very odd since the other 2 of us are perfectly fine hmmm). And of course the supergluing idea totally failed zz.

RAR what a bad week.

9:55 PM

p.s. The hell is land law about???? I'm damn lost and the lecturer just goes on and on and on assuming we know all the terms he uses and understand the stuff he says. Then you comfort yourself by thinking, 'it's okay I can just read the book'-- HA. You are totally proven wrong when you open up the book to page 296 and see references to previous parts of the book you haven't read. Congratulations! You are screwed. Whoohoo!

10:12 AM

Auds has officially turned into my mum hi mum! Last night she took note of my timetable and made edds wake me up this morning when my alarm didn't go off. Then she made him cook me scrambled eggs with bacon for breakfast, and when I didn't have time to eat it cos I was late, she packed it into my lunchbox for me and even filled a water bottle so that I could bring it to school. Omg I feel like a little kid again. This must've been how joel felt last year, total role reversal for me man!

6:16 PM

While I usually adore kids to the point of paedophilicity (uh not literally hurhur), I absolute ABHOR the stupid brat living directly above my room. He has been stomping on my ceiling for the past 3 hours. I am amazed at his stamina, perhaps one day he'll be a cross-country champion.

That is, if he lives long enough to become one.... I SO WANNA KILL HIM RIGHT NOW. GRRRRRRRR. When he grows up and goes to university, I HOPE THE PERSON LIVING ABOVE HIM IN HALL HAS SEX EVERY SINGLE DAY SO HE CAN'T STUDY IN PEACE TOO. That'll teach him to trample on my ceiling while I'm trying to study hmpf.

2:19 PM

And your love's a gathered storm
I chased across the sky.

11:47 PM

I CAN'T BELIEVE I SPENT AN ENTIRE DAY: 1.SHOPPING 2. DECORATING MY ROOM OMG

It's like I didn't come to london to study

But anyway my room is super awesome now ahahaha. I just spent the night wallpapering an elephant onto my wall. Now my room looks like a zoo-- there's a huge elephant and a small bird, my duckie laundry basket and my fugly toy doggy! whee.

OKAY. I will study tmr!!!!!!!!!!!

1:51 PM

I am officially a shopaholic ))):

IT IS ALL AUDREY'S FAULT I swear! (haha okay maybe not) zz every night we'll be surfing a different site for their sales.... stupid mid season sales. What the hell are mid season sales anyway.

4:46 PM

Suddenly reminded of this time many years back when jeremy and I were chilling out at starbucks in sg. He was commenting about how many older african-american dudes were called marsel, and how if you saw random old black guy it'd probably be his name. After our coffees we walked out of starbucks-- and there sitting at a table outside starbucks was this black man who was in his 50s. The idiot decided to be cheeky and whispered 'marsel!' The dude's eyes suddenly widened and he sat up straight and looked around wildly! Omg we were so shocked and embarrassed at our success that we quickly ran away haha. Later I commented that we should have gone straight up to him and said something retardedly prophetic like 'God is listening' or something, and we'd have a total radical convert on our hands I tell you. Such is the power of a white lie. Haha.

p.s. We have decided that our house needs to have some personality and life in it. To facilitate this, we have decided to give various parts of the house names! Like Teddy the Toilet, Kitty the Kitchen, Stan the Storeroom and Dotty the Door (uh our front door needed a name cos it was feeling lonely (:). We have also agreed that this is a very haps and cool idea, and anyone who disagrees will no longer be considered our friends-- immediate eviction through Dotty the Door. Edds wishes to take no part in this HAHA.

9:24 PM

Edds is out for the weekend! And we realised how dependent we are on him hahaha. Our bathroom floor is full of hair, the bathtub is clogged, we vowed never to go down to the rubbish dump again, our sink is dirty and OMG washing dishes is MEGA tedious. Yay can't wait for him to come back because everything is waiting for him to clean up (: hee hee hee.

Actually can't wait for this weekend to be past, it's such a paranoid weekend thanks to all the warnings! When we were out we kept suspecting everyone to be secret terrorists. You have no idea how many bearded men carrying black backpacks there are in london I tell you. All so suspicious looking somemore.

Alright I really need to start doing work! ): Supposed to spend this weekend on my homework but SIGH auds got the shopping itch so we upped and left for oxford street halfway through the day D: lalala~ I am so so so so so x90284024205 broke and I'm still shopping life is awesome

2:15 AM

So many danger alerts in London right now, especially for the area most of us are living in since this place was bombed before 5 years ago :/ sigh. I can't believe all this is so close to home, s'pore felt so safe.

Somemore all the sales are like out NOW and I am sooo tempted to go crazy down oxford street... but well audrey and I concluded that oxford street on a weekend is probably number 1 prime target since half of london will be present. So haha baddd idea. Instead I will hold in my shopping spree instincts, be a guai girl and do my homework whoohoo.

1:11 AM

I TOTALLY forgot to mention lifehouse concert on mon haha. Omg I am such a fangirl, I have every single song ever played by lifehouse and I know like all the lyrics to all their songs. How loser right. Anw the concert was gooood. Admittedly their new album more or less sucks, but jason wade is so cute AND he sings damn well, so all is forgiven (: Hee hee.

Do you know what I spent the entire evening/night doing? Papering my ugly desk. Yes kids, I walked 15mins to the huge 3-storey paperchase, spent about 45mins gawking at everything in there and trying to decide what wrapping paper is awesome enough to be part of my table, walked 15mins back, and spent about 3hours cutting paper and plastic wrap into what currently is my awesome desk. I use the word awesome too much. whoohoo.

But yes my desk is so pretty now (: Can't wait for my curtains and rug and posters to arrive, then my room will be complete!

zz can't believe I'm already halfway through my first week of school ugh. Okay must zone back to studying mode.

p.s. AUDREY AND I ARE SUCH PIGS. We bought 6 tubs of ben and jerrys cookiedough icecream from iceland cos they were sooo cheap (£2 omg!) and they're supposed to last 2 months but we finished one tub in like 2-3 days already!!! omg life sucks we're gonna grow fat and flabby ):

9:11 PM

OMG audrey and I made steak today for dinner and it is totally the shiz like 10/10. We are damn awesome cooks oh man. We are so proud of ourselves. HAHA. There was awesome broccoli, awesome herb & buttered potatoes and awesome caramelised onions and mushrooms on top of our peppered steak (: yums.

Yay we've decided to chronicle our food! Too bad we didn't do it earlier, everything we've cooked thus far has been beyond awesome. Chicken rice, korean tanghoon, random chinese food. And we have many many more dishes to try out, so exciting! Sigh I wish we didn't need to go school and study... we'll just spend everyday cooking nice food lor. Aha.

1:17 PM

Hoho I'm supposed to be unpacking my room now but I'm mega lazy so I shall blog.

Oktoberfest was great. It's like a Hyde Park Winter Wonderland thing, just 10 times wider in scale! Okay basically like any amusement park thing but 10 times wider. The atmosphere is really awesome, especially if you manage to squeeze into any of the beer tents or small restaurants. The first night we got into this pleasant looking but super crowded restaurant to have dinner and drink beer. Half the crowd was in traditional german costumes (which is damn cool haha) and everyone was super friendly! Like uh one old german guy smiled at me and pointed at my waist I dno what he said but I think he was telling me I was too skinny must eat more haha! Halfway through dinner some lady started singing old traditional songs and everyone stood up on their chairs to dance and stamp their feet and toast. They even have a song after which you must all toast and drink how cool is that.

Basically every night was the same thing la-- we went to the festival grounds, went into a tent or restaurant and drank and made merry! Uh second day was damn bad cos us girls got drunk :/ let's not talk about that HAHA but hey I'm a super docile drunk, I just puke and sleep. So the third day we decided to get away and go on a day trip somewhere. The guys picked up some brochures for a tour so we decided to go to Salzburg. On the train from Munich to Salzburg land of Mozart and sound of music, someone suddenly asked, 'Hey actually I was wondering.. is salzburg in germany or austria?' TOTAL OWNAGE. We travelled to a different country without even knowing omg how bimbo is that.

But yah Salzburg is a very nice pleasant place (: Please go there. It's like a slightly less pretty version of prague! Eh but still pretty haha.

Yup I'm bored and I dun wanna unpack my room ): And did I mention I'm a reformed woman? Thanks to my housemates I early bird catch the early worm now!! Sleep by 12am wake up at 8am whoo hoo can you believe it. And I even make my own bed now. HAHA. This is like a big joke I know right

Okokok late for school!
