Household chores today!

Woke up at 9.30--> tidied up my pigsty room--> vacuumed every inch of it + the bed and my rugs--> beat my rugs in the tub (freaking dirty)--> did my laundry--> went out to buy groceries and stuff--> dusted every inch of my room in anti-insect powder--> cooked lunch--> hung my laundry--> vacuumed my room + bed and rugs again-->washed my bedsheets and duvet cover--> ate lunch--> disinfected the bed

and now its midafternoon and I need to reply emails! Feel like a housewife haha.

After all the trouble I just went through cleaning my room, I better not still get bites ):

love friends who offer ben's cookies and froyo and tauhuay and chocolates and homecooked dinners left for me in the microwave when I come home late, and pochaipills and prawncrackers and conversations that make me laugh, on weeks when I'm stressed beyond words. The people I hang with are too awesome.

Ugh doing 4 essays in a week on top of tutorials is no joke. Going to spend saturday staring at the ceiling and eating cupnoodles cannot wait.

On a moment of impulse and with audrey's encouragement last night, I cut myself some bangs. OMG.

Hahahaa.

Okay they really aren't bad on me, as much as the idea sounds horrible! So far everyone who've seen me says nice things, but then again everyone who has seen me so far are a few of my bestest friends SO WHO KNOWS. Maybe I look like shit.

I still can't believe I cut myself some bangs. Auds and I agree we need to have more alcohol at home so that we'll be more courageous and less inhibited this way haha!

Went to birmingham w yiming to visit shiyang for the weekend!

Haha we karaoked until nearly 5am last night with his friends can't believe it. I am awesome at cai1 quan2. (but bad at chikopa hahaha) And stratford-upon-avon is so pretty! And the tea is SO GOOD.

Came back and realised I left my specs at sy's house. ZZ. I hate how absentminded I am; everytime I go for a holiday I ALWAYS forget to bring something essential, and this time I didn't forget anything but I forgot to bring back my specs of all things. Rar.

I HAVE SO MUCH WORK TO DO.

HAPPY VDAY GUYS HOW WAS YOUR VDAY? MY VDAY WAS AWESOME.

God is awesome. He made valentine's day the sunniest, most perfect day in the UK. Woke up at 8am with the sun brightly shining and not a cloud in the sky, what a great start to a great day!

Seven sisters is SO incredible. Everyone should go there it's beautiful x2949507. I love the UK, it has this English charm thats so distinctly different from the rest of Europe! Haha and luckily we decided to trek the seven sisters on vday and not the day after-- the 15th was an absolutely dreadful day. It was rainy and cold and cloudy and COLD.

So glad to be back in my warm home but argh so much work to do ):

Off to a wonderful beach holiday for valentine's day! Excitess

Hope everyone has fun whether or not it's with your lover or friend or even if you're planning to boycott it. Love valentine's day! Haha it's a day people do cheesy stuff for you and you for them. I miss the school ones though, it's awesome to get flowers from friends hahaha.

Had the yummy skinny peach and raspberry muffin at starbs today and it was awesome as usual, so I felt like baking it! Totally inspired by vanessa's apparent ease at making cakes by mixing random stuffs from random recipes and just popping it into the oven hahaha. ANYWAY. After mixing in all the ingredients...... I realised I didn't have the muffin cases!!! WIN. So it became a muffin-cake yay. It's nice but um the parts with peaches were soggy, and I couldn't figure out why until berns kindly told me (more like sniggered and waved his superiority in my face actually) perhaps dried fruit would have worked better. I CAN'T BELIEVE A GUY HAD TO TELL ME THAT. Bye bye domestic goddess me ):

Had a sleepover at vanessa's place yesterday! (: with darrell our jiemei as dinner guest haha. I love how we totally bonded just because we have PIL lectures together.

Life this second year is so much more wonderful! I walked across the waterloo bridge this morning back home, and staring at the Thames with the wind blowing on my face and all of London's sights around, for a split second I could imagine actually living here. Maybe if one day I had nothing to lose and no one to care about haha.

We should be out bainian-ning and eating awesome cny food and collecting angpaos!!!! I am imagining it all in my head now. Omg. Miss my mum's cooking. Miss my aunties' cooking.

And here I am, having to drag myself out of bed before the sun is up so that I can finish all my work due today. RAR. Having half a mind to pon every single lessson this fine day. Hahahahaha I am damn fail

Today will be a festive day! Even though I have an essay, 2 tutorials and a moot problem to do by tomorrow whoohoo. Entirely my fault I take full blame for it. Been super distracted the past week I have no idea by what, and instead of doing my essay yesterday I made oreo cheesecake with audrey and went to bed at 1030pm. Ah life.
