HELLO EVERYONE I'M BACK.

Wow I can't believe it's over!

Korea is BLOODY COLD I tell you. -20 degrees when we first came, I almost died of frostbite. Oh but we were very lucky, it snowed quite some and on the right days too! So pretty (:

Haha okay I dunno what to say about it. Maybe a few points? Like:

1. I'm totally sick of korean food zomg. Singaporeans don't know how lucky they are to be able to eat different stuff every day! For breakfast lunch and dinner I practically had the same stuff: STEAMBOAT. With loads and loads of cabbage. Kimchi. Seaweed. Pork shavings. Ugh.

2. Okay I love kimchi haha I dun mind eating it every day.

3. Their cosmetics are damn cheap compared to s'pore!

3. Eh the girls not pretty leh. Only those who've gone through cosmetic surgery (damn obvious) haha. But their skin are all very good!

4. The guys are goodlooking though! Haha korean hunks :D We had a cute korean boy following us about as our photographer hehe.

Yeah haha that's about it. Sigh back to work tmr.

There's something wrong with me today!

It started in the morning with a sudden bout of heart palpitations and a dizzy attack at my desk for a few seconds. Then some hot flash which refuses to go (up till now :\).

So far I've gotten 4 of them through the day and each time it's like I'm about to get a heart attack.

There's only 3 options with these symptoms, that I could find: a panic attack, some heart attack thingy with a long name that basically means that my heart will suddenly stop and I'll drop dead anytime now, and of course menopause. Hmm I wonder which it is.

Haha anyhow if I suddenly die or find out I'm older and wrinklier than my parents make me out to be on my birth cert, it wouldn't be that bad I guess? At least now everyone's prepared for it.

Work is kinda getting better! My boss and his secretary make my day every day, with their little quibblings. Today my boss was trying to make small chat with me while mum slogged in his office writing up accounts, and we got onto the topic of korea (cos he just went there last month for holiday too!). So I spent most of the afternoon hiding my face beneath my jacket trying not to laugh too hard, while the boss and the secretary argued over the nonexistence of fat koreans, their good dress sense, taking leave, bringing back souvenirs etc like little children. Haha when I start work next time I must be so good in my work like the secretary, that I can scold my boss incessantly and talk cock with him all the time without fearing being sacked, just because I'm too damn good.

And despite the every day mantras to 'use a little more common sense' and to 'treat each case like how you read your chemistry textbook', and his fond analogy of 'how do you wear your clothes each morning? underwear first or shirt first?', the boss is infinitely patient with us screwing up/ not being able to read his mind. I think over the past 2 weeks or so I've learned a damn lot already!

Yes anyway back to the korea thingy, I'm leaving tomorrow haha. Until next thursday, which means I'm missing CNY. Oh well. See everybody (:

Today was epic fail day. Lemme recount:

1. I went to the national library... and borrowed a few books.. AND LEFT MY EZLINK CARD IN THE MACHINE.

2. I only found out at 9.30pm (the library closed by then) when I was trying to tap my wallet and go home.

3. I HAD NO MONEY LEFT TO BUY A PASS.

4. Very hilariously, I spent all my money buying a new wallet.

5. I borrowed 1.60 from nette (my perpetual saviour) to pay for the fare... only to realise I still needed another 1 buck deposit -.- I think nette only had 1 buck left in her wallet after I was done cleaning her out of money the whole day lol!

6. At dinner in the soup spoon before, nette and I realised we were utterly broke. So I was to pay with nets. But when we went to the counter, they said they din have nets -.- I had to find an atm machine and queue for forever lol it was embarrasing I thought we had to clean plates or something.

And that describes the whole afternoon-night I spent together with nette!

Omg!

Just talked to ian and sean on the phone, who're both in NS already. Haha ian says life sucks, but he's in an RJ-filled platoon (with loads of friends!) so it isn't that bad. Sean on the other hand hardly has any RJ friends. And he's cursing like a sailor already lol, don't wanna hang out with him in future already.

Anyway that totally made me miss all my NS friends ): Will catch up with them soon haha.

In other news, work is frustrating. Not that it's boring, actually it's very interesting. Plus our boss and the secretary are hilarious, they make mum and me laugh alot at their quibbles and ridiculous sayings. But I can never grasp what the boss wants! He thinks I'm retarded, sloppy and careless already :\ Oh well.

Today I took half-day leave to hang out at Open House. Kinda miss RJ D: And hope my boss won't kill me tmr, cos I fled once he went out for lunch. Even though I haven't exactly finished what he told me to do. Haha.

Anyway my bro got back his Os. I feel damn sian for him. He got A1s in every subject... EXCEPT higher chinese. Which he failed. LOL. Which might mean he might not make it into RJ, thanks to the lost 2 bonus points... Rar. Really hope he makes it through.

Yay it's the weekend! (:

Met mandy after work yesterday for a hot date. Haha she is such an impulsive buyer seriously, she just buys just about everything she tries on. But that's okay, that's why I love her right? HAHA.

Yay she lent me twilight! Haha and I agree with her that although the story was good, stephanie meyer isn't fantabulous as a writer as compared to jk rowling. I still want to marry edward anyway, like everyone else (:

My family's going to korea during the CNY period, which means no angpaos ): But oh well! We haven't had a trip for a zillion years.

Okay. Gotta enjoy my weekends, free days come rarely nowadays.

Today at work for once (a very short few seconds, but nevertheless) I felt damn happy, because The Boss was actually surprised I managed to complete a task without him having to interfere. Plus I became the first intern ever to be able to translate his handwriting verbatim into a draft letter. Plus I actually learnt how to use a typewritter! Like, a real typewriter.

But as usual the day included loads of scoldings, uncertainties, accounts accounts wills arguments bombastic words etc etc which sometimes make me feel like killing myself.

Okay we've lasted only 4 days! And it already feels like forever. I can't imagine staying in an office for 40 years D:

Today mum and I met ben and gerrard to send off the boss woman (aka gerrard) who's going into NS on friday. Dun ask me why he got special treatment, I also dunno. But haha shit I'm totally broke already. Mum and I are going to eat sandwiches for lunch tmr D: The very bright side is that it'll help me along my plans to lose weight! I've been putting on weight like nobody's business lately. I feel like I'm bursting out of my skin already, and it really isn't a good feeling! Do fat people feel like they're constantly going to burst? Okay no offense, just a random though :\ Maybe my skin's made too tight? Ahaha.

The thing that's made my week was watching the worship leader today during praise and worship. I don't know, watching him jump about the stage like an energizer bunny and singing his heart out (and singing well too) just made me smile from the inside.

Anyway life's been pretty eventful recently, what with starting work that's more like slavery, and 27ths farewell which was fun (:

I guess there's much more to say than that, but right now I'm dead beat and I should sleep early or I'll die at work tomorrow.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh wow so fast.

Spent my new year's eve with the least expected bunch of people, haha nette and her friends.

Had to go to school in the morning to pass a teacher some envelopes (ugh) so I hung around in nette's house the whole day, since I was her hot date to her gathering later on. We watched HSM I and II on disney the whole afternoon, and it gave me a big headache. Her house is a vampire's nightmare, it's chock full of light EVERYWHERE and I had to watch the TV squinting, ugh.

Dinner was with junliang + nats, jevon, nigel, guonian, philbert, graceler (another crasher like me!) at kenny roger's.

After that a few of us went to clarke quay to await the new year. Philbert brought like a litre of vodka haha so everyone except jevon and I got tipsy. But it was fun looking at them go mad, grace was tottering around the place and high fiving everyone! Junliang couldn't stop jumping and hugging nats, and philbert was totally the highest. Haha but okay it was fun jumping about in the pub after the countdown!

Got out a little too late and I missed the last eastbound train home D: Total disaster, I tell you. Everyone was desperate to go home. So being ugly singaporeans (ESPECIALLY the ugly bangla workers who started it first, stupid @_&*#$ argh) everyone started jumping the taxi queue. I wanted to kill everyone right then man. It was bloody 2am and I was alone, poor lonely girl, and EVERYONE was jumping my taxi queue. So thank God for ben, haha whom I smsed out of despair. He was already on a taxi from holland V, somewhere far on the highway. And he turned back to get me in outram lol!

Guess how much the taxi fare was.

45 freaking bucks.
