Omg I *think* I lost weight! :D

Was trying out size 8 skinny jeans and they were baggy on me :D and all my pants and jeans are falling off me, even my stupid belts are too loose to hold them up/ stay on my waist.. AND I wear size 8 shirts now! Whoohoo! I rock. Either that or I've been buying clothes 1-2 sizes too big for myself all along :S which COULD happen too....

Okay damn tired now I've been walking since morning in my heeled boots, and my feet hurt so bad they're numb ): And I haven't done homework for tmr ): Sigh. Law school sucks, who the hell said going overseas was much more relaxed??

Aaaaand the first lse singaporean couple have just got together! Haha. In my hall. Looks like life is only going to get lonelier ):

Haha my crim law tutor rocks, he's so cool in a badass way. This lesson had about 5 f words, including one that went "my ex-girlfriend used to sleepwalk.. well, she was f*king mental!" and all our eyes went O.O And he's young, goodlooking, very smart (he teaches at oxford and parttime here) and rich (his shoes are yves saints laurent and his belt is ted baker, according to yiming and shimin). HAHA okay yes we spent the lesson perving at our tutor.

Am dreading lessons tmr.

Okay a very quick update on my life!

1. I BOUGHT MY DOC MARTEN BOOTS :D have I mentioned that already? I can't remember. But yeah can't wait for them to come!! They aren't the weird sorts it like normal boots lah! Um hopefully haha.

2. Yesterday was a msian girl's bday, so we all had dinner together at Nandos. Then a few of us bought some drinks and went back to the hall to play cards. Peter got out his FHM poker cards -.- You can imagine the convo:

- guy: "OMG I will trade my Ace for your 7!! The girl damn hot!!"

-"shit this is damn distracting all I can see are legs"

3. Yeah I'm going back in dec, I booked my flight on the freakin SQ already, bloody expensive shit, so I hope everyone will be around!!! :D Dun make me waste my scholarship $$, cos my parents only wanna sponsor half of it.

4. I HAVE HOMEWORK DUE ON MONDAY AND I HAVENT STARTED OH NO D:

5. Jia and I went to have dimsum at chinatown! Not too bad haha but expensive ): And we ordered wayyy too much so we are super full. Their xiao long bao taste more like siewmai -.- No soup one. Sigh.

6. I BOUGHT VITASOY FROM CHINATOWN :D It rocks! I didn't even particularly like vitasoy in Singapore, but PLEASE DONT TAKE VITASOY FOR GRANTED OKAY. When you don't have it you'll miss it.

7. The days are ending very early already ): Dalight savings starts tmr! One extra hour to sleep in haha

Wicked was gooood (: The songs were good and the singers were all damn good! And the set was absolutely awesome. At first we had some rather terrible seats, but after the intermission we quickly moved forwards :P HAHA kiasu singaporeans!

But the whole time before that I was such a DDPx 2 (dian deng pao x2, cos we had 5 people for dinner and....) ): Haha OHWELL. I must start getting used to that once everyone else pairs up here!

Hooyeah finally bought my all-butter sultana cookies from marksandspencer and they taste like heaven. Heaven for only 2quid! And it costs 7-8bucks in Singapore, suck that losers! Hahaha.

Sorry I'm abit high right now, think it's sleep deprivation. Been sleeping really late nowadays, the nights run really quickly! Like it's already 11pm now I can't believe it feels like 8pm! Am damn depressed about my classes, cos I always can't seem to speak in class, and today I did my homework and was so proud of it, BUT THEN I left it in the library (ARGH) so I couldn't answer any of the questions my boisterous public law teacher shot at me, and I LOOKED LIKE A TOTAL DOOFUS ): Sigh. This tutor is really damn scary he's so high even at 5pm in the evening, and everytime he looked in my direction I'd tremble cos he always looks like he's about to eat me up -.-

WICKED WICKED WICKED TOMORROW EVENING! So exciting. Haha will tell you all if it was worth my 25pounds then. Eh but 25pounds is already more than half the usual price (which is 60 freakin pounds) (: Yay!

Omg I opened my rice cooker and out came a stinky waft not unlike an unclean toilet smell, and I found my rice cooker full of raw, wet, rotten rice grains. What. The. Fuck.

I know I accidentally burnt her pot once and left it stewing in the common kitchen sink (accident really! The guys forced me to abandon it and I subsequently forgot abt it :/), BUT THIS IS WAY BELOW THE BELT.

Fuck! My room stinks now and I feel extremely ill.

Been to hillsong london!! How exciting. The praise and worship was awesome. But I still miss the cornerstone one :/ All was well and good until we went to have lunch.. at a bar nearby.. and my lunch cost 7pounds. Bloody hell.

Then it was about 10 degs out this afternoon, and joel and I decided to explore our neighborhood (okay he wanted to smoke his cancer stick and I dragged him along). It wouldn't be so interesting if he hadn't only been in his singlet and rj shorts, and me my rj pe shirt and fbts and we were both wearing slippers... IT WAS FREEZING. Haha we looked like two gungho retards and everyone was staring at us like we were crazy. Everyone else were in thick clothes and many layers and scarves.. My face was falling off, but we did our best to look extremely nonchalant about it all, as if we were still in Singapore and it was 35 degs out! That, my friends, is what we do to add some hype in our lives.

I'm so tired I wanna sleep ):

This is very redundant, but omg there are more bras my size in london than there are in singapore I can't believe this!! It is a miracle that I cannot resist telling everyone who wants to hear. Tezenis had a 'all bras for 5pounds' sale just now! Which is damn good seeing that their bras usually go for 12-13pounds each. 100% SILK WHEE. I AM HAPPY.

Rar I need to go somewhere else OTHER than oxford street. Because it's so near school, and so long and full of shops, everyone likes to go there all the time. But I haven't been anywhere else! Like Camden town! Or Borough market! ): I need friends who haven't been there to jio me.

I'm actually rather happy about my hall now, not because I actually like this place (it is dirty and noisy AND THERE'S A EFFING GIANTIC SPIDER OUT IN THE CORRIDOR RIGHT NOW) but because all the sporeans in our hall get along surprisingly well. Again, it's only when you're overseas that you realise that home is really where the heart is, where all your true friends are.. Haha. Don't get smug, I'm not missing any of you! (kidding) But angmohs are really tough to be good friends with! It's not because they're racist or whatever, it's just that our frequencies are so entirely different that it's hard to go beyond small talk.

But yeah 4 out of 6 of us are rather tight now, I guess mainly because of circumstance? We've been thrown together in this hall and the other 2 guys feel obligated to protect us girls haha. So we walk to school together, wait for each other (and mug in the library while waiting cos we're all chao muggers), walk home to together, eat dinner together, spend the nights together... Haha sounds so loser right!

I can tell you right now that the loneliness you feel at nights here isn't like the loneliness you'd feel any nights back in Singapore. I can't whip out my handphone and message anyone I like, whenever I wish. When I go on msn or facebook, most of the people online are Londoners because everyone else is asleep. You can't walk around like you own this place, because you don't have any claim on it at all. It's not that London's not nice, really, London's awesome and exciting (WE ARE GONNA WATCH WICKED IN THE THEATRES NEXT WEEK PLEASE BE JEALOUS) but it's not where my friends are! If you guys were all here, I would never go back haha. SEE??? All your faults.

Yeah so I'm really grateful for the s'poreans, because whenever I'm lonely in my room I can just pop by anyone else's to chat and while away the night. Haha I think hall's really a very good place to make friends fast! I guess being in someone else's room makes you feel more comfortable with him/her or something.

Today's was rice, beef, omelette and stir-fried beansprouts and mushrooms. The stove in our hall sucks ass, 45 mins of warming up later the stove was still so un-hot that everything was half-cooked and disgusting :/ so we gathered up all our pots and pans and ran to the postgrad wing to use their high-tech kitchen haha. It took what, 2 mins to heat up?

Am loving the mugging actually (: Kinda. Not that I really actually mug much, only about a third of the words I read get processed in my head..

WE COOKED SEAFOOD AGLIO OLIO, AND MUSHROOM AND ONION OMELETTE TODAY! :D

Haha I made sure I was photographed loads ("eheh take picture of me!! I need to show my friends!!") just to show you guys that I'm not starving to death here.

Mm and dessert, waitrose has ben and jerry's 2 for 4pounds, very worth it.

I ended school at 6 (yay they waited for me), then we all went sainsbury grocery shopping, started cooking at 8, started dinner at about 830, then ate and chatted until now (11pm o.o). Very very tired now ugh were supposed to do laundry but I guess that's for tmr.. laundry's been postponed since saturday D:

But yes it was an enjoyable day I'm glad I have lovely hallmates (:

Ohoh and my public law tutor is SO adorable. He's extremely dramatic and energetic, he's like an actor and we his audience. Haha I was so amused by his antics through the whole period. But I'm going to be damn scared to speak in class, ugh I hate speaking out in class.

Okay okay bath. Bring keys this time.

My roomie was studying downstairs with her bf the whole time -.- thankfully she came up to check her laptop at about 3am haha I was totally dying of sleep deprivation and was contemplating kicking joel off his nice warm bed. Today my lessons start at 10am, I'm currently having a 4hour break, and my school ends at 6pm ): Talk about a horrid day.

Yay I think our hall sporeans are gonna cook today! So exciting.

Okay back to studying! Haha boring existence, the way I like it.

I was bathing and then when I came back my room was locked!!! Wtf. I hope my roomie comes back soon or I'm gonna really stone to death in joel's room -.- Hehe kicked him off his laptop! But he ate up my last nissin chilli crab cupmee from singapore ): Omg chinatown sells nissin cupmee, BUT NOT THE CHILLI CRAB ONE. Can you believe it!! Sigh.

Whee went for law fresher's dinner today! (: One of the happier days so far haha. It was at long acre near covent garden.. paid loads of money for it! But yay we camwhored alot haha mingwei is damn funny it's damn sad for him that he's the only guy, he has to get bullied by all of us.

I feel supremely stupid, I don't understand this case at all ): Barnfather v Islington, about a disabled mother being prosecuted because her kid missed too much school.. Her defence is something about her human rights (innocent until proven guilty) being infringed because the statute didn't allow for any defense due to strict culpability, but other than that I can hardly grasp the cheem english. Rar and it's such a boring tedious case that my mind keeps drifting elsewhere!

The cheapest plan is: 34pounds per month, pay an extra 90pounds for the phone, and I get 600 mins 500 texts and unlimited internet. Wahh 34pounds per month is crazy D:

Then I thought maybe I could get a blackberry instead... but the lousiest blackberry plan is 25pounds per month (unlimited calls/texts to same provider) plus another 100pounds for the phone. 25pounds per month sounds reasonable, until you convert and realise thats about 55bucks ): 55bucks a month for the lousiest blackberry available! ): Haha let's see if my parents are feeling rich...

Yijun fed me rotten cheesecake today ): Vanessa couldn't finish her cheesecake so gave it to her to give it to all of us, and we dug in and only realised it was spoilt after like 2 big mouthfuls ): Oh no I hope I don't get food poisoning.

And booked tickets to portugal for a week with derek! :D So fun. My parents are worried though, they think he's gonna rape me or something I think. So does anyone wanna join us? 12-19 dec! Please? (: It'll be fun! He's nice he won't eat! He's like a... a wenjun without any bitchiness involved (not that I'm one to say since I dunno wenjun well at all haha).

SQ and BA tickets cost at least 1k POUNDS.. even the cheapest flights (air france, KLM, bloody hell even air asia) cost 800-900pounds.

Sorry slowly turning vulgar cos no good influence here at all. I can easily say fuck, cos there's nothing and no one here to stop me, I AM FREE, not even my fucking conscience.

At least I still don't drink and club.. and won't ever. That alone should get me to heaven, hear that God?

Okay I need to go back to reading my stupid case. It's some theoretical case (the Speluncean Explorers if you wanna google it) about some guys getting trapped in a mine, and they killed one of their guys to eat him in order to survive until they were dug out. I'm sorry, but the fake judges say really retarded stuff that don't make sense, and they're so bitchy to each other! In fact they spend most of my 16 pages bitching about each other ("my dearest brother justice so-and-so is utterly deluded and he's just living in his own fantasy idealist world, I can't believe he said that!" kind of stuff). The Chief Justice is a total wuss (oh let's convict them and pray they're granted clemency), the 2nd some airy fairy idealist, the 3rd an indecisive girl, 4th a stuckup snob and the last I haven't finished but I'm just trying to find a modicum of common sense in this whole damn case. I can't believe it was published in the harvard law review -.- and I can't believe I'm made to read this -.- Kinda reminds me of the class yijun and I had... full of flowery stuff being thrown about that sound like alot but is actually just bullshit.

Yesterday we did laundry!! So weiching and minqi pls dun worry haha I've got ppl here who know how to do laundry! :D So yesterday was a fruitful day-- we cooked and did laundry (:

AND TODAY, I FOUND MY WAY BACK HOME FROM SCHOOL ALONE! :D You don't realise how big an achievement is, friends. Yijun and I have been walking to school and back with the guys every day, because we can't seem to remember the way.. and today my school ended super early, so I decided to be adventurous and find my way home! Joel has absolutely no faith in my sense of direction (very understandable lah huh) and everytime I walk with him he'd suan and quiz me on which way to turn (and I'd get it wrong 70% of the time) but this exercise actually helped me to remember the route :D Granted, I got lost while trying to find my way out of school, but that's mainly it! YAY I ROCK.

Today was the first day of school.

It was boring ): At least the lectures were. Haha and we had a class with our academic adviser and yijun (who shares the same adviser as me!) and I spent it staring at our adviser, whom she thinks look like Hugh Grant and I just think he has DAMN NICE BLUE EYES.

We impulsively decided to all go to shimin's hall to cook pasta! :D It was nice haha and very cheap!

Btw did I ever tell you guys that we have 11 singaporean girls and only 1 singaporean guy in lse law? HAHA COOL RIGHT. Okay not so cool for him.

Yeah.. anw tomorrow's lessons are bloody useless ): But yijun (who also lives in the same hall as me) doesn't wanna pon lessons so I have to go too. Haha oh well.

But okay chatted with derek for very long (because the whole place was damn noisy and we didn't know anyone much!) AND YAY we're gg to spain and dunno where this decemberrrr! :D

Aye should I come back though ): sigh.

IT'S GETTING DAMN COLD HERE. I am like perpetually shivering.. cos I'm being damn garang wearing damn little clothes out haha! Not my fault my outerwear are either too thin or too thick. It's about 13 degrees out now.. and I'm in fbts and my rj hoodie. The bloody heater isn't going to turn on till next next week I think D:
