So it was year party today! Everyone came except luvy, and tian pangseh-ed us when she said SHE WAS COMING ): <

Anyway it was er full of chocolate and bridge :D rachel brought her chocolate fondue fountain! And we forgot the chocolate. So hung had to buy tonnes of chocolate on her way here, she bought 6 bars of cadbury, family block size! The melted cadbury was too thick though, it dripped down the layers in slops, so rachel insisted on pouring buckets of vege oil into it to make it more flowy so it'd look NICE and fountain-like >< Was quite put off by it, bleargh. Oil in chocolate. Oily chocolate.

And 6 bars of chocolate was too much too, we didn't finish half of it and I think it got poured away.

And bridge! Haha er. My lucky (as usual) was rather horrible. :S ESPECIALLY when dawn's brother came to play with us and I kept getting him as my partner and we kept losing ): we suspect dawn's genes run same in the family, haha!

It was so terrible, once had 3 aces and a few kings and queens and jacks AND I LOST because I didn't have a chance to show them off )':

Jieshi was stupid. I kept dropping my cards so she was laughing, and she said,

Yen: did you see her card?
Jess: That was 10 diamonds!!
(pauses to look at cards)
Jess: oh wait thats MY card... oh shit I just told everybody!

And yen kept eating her partner's cards! And I'm laughing at them because I kept losing ): <

Ugh I'm still trembling from eating too much chocolate.

Okay so I'd probably have to get on with blogging about mel coming for sleepover and the sleepover at mabel's house, cos year party's coming up too o.o Shall be very fast!

Basically on christmas eve mel came over to my house to sleepover. It was so pathetic. It was supposed to be a HUGE party! A blast! CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN PARTY. But somehow everyone else couldn't make it so it was just us two. ):

Anyway I went back to my old church in the morning. It was super hectic, my mum cleverly didn't plan at all, so when we woke up (late, I must add) she made me turn on my com to check out their website and call up the church to ask about what time service started -.- Then my younger brother refused to wake up, because he slept at 5am last night (as usual) so we went off without him, but later when we were halfway there he called and said he wanted to come -.-

Ehhhhhh service was super cold. Super super cold.

Mel came over late afternoon. We were supposed to go ecp and scream christmas songs or something, but it started raining nonstop. So we just stoned in my house, and she fell asleep. >< Later on becca came over! And she brought ham and food from her christmas party! She wanted to bring wine, but her mum wouldn't let her, haha. Mel was soooo sad.

Then we went downstairs to the poolside (with our santa hats!) and sat there trying to light sparklers. In attempting to light them, mel spoiled both lighters I brought down! And they didn't light too, hmpf. So we just sang christmas songs loudly until becca went to midnight mass.

Eh then mel and I continued stoning/ talking until about 11plus, when we decided to go walking round the neighbourhood looking for churches, so we could join in some festive spirit at least. My estate was super quiet la, except for some guy playing christmas songs on his piano.

We found out the church nearby didn't have midnight mass, so luckily I didn't pangseh mel for it :S We bought slurpies and ran back so we could yell 'MERRY CHRISTMAS!' at my estate.

Then we went back up and promised to not sleep, and mel fell asleep and I woke her up and we both fell asleep (: The end!

Two days later I had another sleepover at mabel's house! becca me agri stacy anyi. Mel was supposed to come but she got food poisoning, the poor dear.

We... basically stoned alot, ate alot (of chocolate! from US! :D), sang christian songs alot (... okay me and anyi anyway. It's christmas!!) and played bridge alot. MABEL'S HOUSE IS HUUUUUGE. Gigantic. Gargantuan. You get me.

I can't really remember what we did to survive until about 3plusam, but it involved playing com games, bridge and watching friends. Then at 3am we went to watch a movie which stace brought. Scary movie 3. BUT THE MOVIE KEPT LAGGING. We tried scary movies 1 and 2 too, but they lagged too. Sheesh.

After much trying scary movie3 managed to work for quite a long while, then started lagging again. So we gave up and went to bed at 5plusam. :D

Ehh the next day we woke up late, ate breakfast, played bridge and went home! The end!

YARRRRH we just got news about our OGs AND I ONLY KNOW EMILY IN MY OG. And I haven't talked to her in oh, two years. And since they sorted us out by houses and there were only 2 tarbet classes THAT MEANS EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS EVERYONE ELSE. Hmpf. I should wear my kor's RI uniform and hang out with the guys instead ): <

Anyway year party tomorrow! Seems like everyone can't make it/ coming late, bah.

Happy new year! Though I'd rather have my old year back, thanks. 4 years together's had them grown on me.

Went out with A2 today for lunch!

Wah lao. 2 people pangseh us, from 8 people become 6 ):

Went to coffeebean to eat/drink coffee. It was bloody cold, couldn't stop shivering for some reason. But the others didn't feel cold at all, so weird.

After coffee we went to walk. We walked from wheelock to taka [to see the gigantic christmas tree] to dhoby ghaut.

Kena lectured by ambrose sir for a few hours about VIP and why I should join [from 3 to 6, no joke man], until I got a headache and started feeling totally stoned. Sir is super luo suo. Just like weiming! Talk nonstop ): <

Finally finished writing christmas cards, gosh so many the postal fee is going to be super ex. Also the bloody envelopes are like bright lime green and I think they aren't allowed for regular posts? But singpost did say something about 'festive cards of all shapes sizes and colours' will cost 0.25, so I'm not sure if 'colours' meant the envelopes. It better be cos I am so not going to a) pay 0.50 instead b) rewrite everyone's bloody addresses.

Christmas is next monday but I'm so not prepared! The hols passed waayyy too fast, there's so much stuff I wanted to do that I haven't. Rah. Can't say I'm looking forward to RJ next year :S

Today shihua and I went to expo to see the cosplay convention and to support xue! :D It's DAMN cool la.

Actually we went there not knowing we had to pay to get in, like 12 bucks per person? Shihua was super disappointed because she came alll the way from the other side of the world to see xue. We caught xue when she came out, she was cosplaying nia from deathnote! Haha. Nia with boobs.

Anyway shee and I didn't want to spend 12 bucks to get in, so we just lingered outside and waited for the people to come out so we could see them/ take picture with them. So many of them were so cool! There were people acting from naruto, bleach, final fantasy, ouran high school! And loads others that I don't watch but shee knew, la. Some people really went to get the exact same clothes and hairstyle/colour as the anime characters! SO COOL RIGHT.

We went around taking pics with people :D it was quite malu-ating going around asking people if you could take photos with them! BUT COOL.

At around 5 the people guarding the area went away so we sneaked in ^^ I saw all the naruto people! And took picture with my darling kakashi I'm so happy.

Will upload a few once shee sends them to me. Yay I don't regret pangseh-ing mel to go watch xue :D

So I and mel went to donate blood today!

It was so funny, yo.

First there was alot of funny paperwork with funny questions, which took really long to clear (because of queues). Then was the doctor's examination. The doctor was funny. He was super bored I think, cos he was totally on auto-mode and he just talked at full speed. I could see mel laughing bewildered-ly from where I was sitting.

The waiting was so traumatic, especially when you're with mel and when you're kind of afraid (actually, very afraid) of needles and sharp objects. She went on and on about slitting wrists and needles and kept flashing her wrist veins at me and I just ate lunch! ):

After the doctor's examination was the finger stick where they prick your finger to test your blood for iron I think. I tell you, the finger stick is more painful than the donation itself. ): < And before we went I even told mel I'd rather 20 finger/toe sticks than a huge needle in the crook of my elbow. I totally take that back, man. The doctor was soo sian-ed, she was looking all about the place even when pricking my finger. She just gave this very bo-chap look, grabbed my middle finger and poked the device in. And there wasn't any anaesthetic! ): (quite duh la.) the finger hurt quite alot for quite a long time, though not in the acute sharp way but in the sour unbearable way, which was worse.

Finally we got to the donate blood part and waited and waited for some nurse to come assist us. Then mel's nurse checked her left arm veins and said they were too small, so she checked her right arm veins. And said they were too soft! SO SHE COULDN'T DONATE. ): <

My nurse checked my left side and said the veins were too small too, so I was rather relieved because I thought I'd be spared the needles. But then she checked my right side and declared them fine, and I was like, oh shit.

It was a traumatic experience, it was.

I was squeezing poor mel's fingers like crazy all the time, even waaaay before the needles came. Then this mom and her children came over to stare at me, because the mom wanted to donated but she was scared of pain. So she said if I screamed then she won't donate -.- haha.

The rc personnel came over to try and distract me from the needles! Didn't work though, was too busy trying to squeeze mel's fingers :D

I tell you, it was PAINFUL. Especially the first needle for the anaesthetic. The woman didn't want to donate after looking at my face, cos I was grimacing like crazy. Woops.

They said the second needle for drawing blood wouldn't hurt at all, but they lied! It still hurt like hell, almost as much as the first one. But the people said it was probably because I was too tense (I was hysterical, really) or because my veins were rather small, and usually it wouldn't hurt at all.

The drawing blood part was weird, la. Sometimes if you concentrated you could actually feel the thing sucking your blood. Mel was trying to resist the temptation to tickle me. But I didn't suffer from any side effects like dizziness or anything, just that my arm's abit sore at the moment. I'm so cool, you know??? Okay other than the fact that I get hysterical looking at needles.

But YAY i got a lime green bandage! That looked totally cool and mel was so jealous, cos she so wanted to donate blood and get a pink bandage. But she couldn't! Neh neh.

Took off my bandage a while ago. There're two holes in my arm! One smaller hole and one bigger hole, but actually both look big for needle holes :S I wouldn't know, I didn't dare look at all. The only time I saw the needles was when I accompanied pea to hers somewhere in march this year, and man they looked HUGE. Especially the drawing blood one. eer.

But it was quite an experience, la. Don't think I'd ever get comfortable with the process though, despite what the guy said. How the hell can you get comfortable with people sticking needles into you!

I'm going with mel to donate blood tmr! I can't believe it, my dad actually agreed to let me go. Actually he was like, 'you so skinny, where got blood to donate?!' and I'm kinda scared now, because even though I do meet the weight requirement by quite alot my forearms are like. Quite skinny. What if the nurse pokes and pokes and cannot find my veins?! o.o

Haha okay I shall not scare myself. Anyone who feels like donating blood, tomorrow at dhoby ghaut mrt from I think 1pm to 6pm! GO OKAY. :D

Yearmates are incorrigible.

They ALWAYS come later than you please! ): < I tried coming late again today but haha my late attempts are always horribly futile, especially with yearmates.

Haha today I abandoned mel (who just came back from kl!) at work for my yearmates. ttime audits! The year was reliving horrible sec1 memories. Omg we were so dumb in sec1, can. I can't believe we thought we were so pro and cool in sec1 ): Haha all our juniors' sec1 ttime items (when they were/are sec1) were/are soo much better than ours were.

Xue's birthday yesterday! Happy birthday laogong! Even though you're super blatantly unfaithful but nevermind. Xue's so stupid, she didn't even know we were getting her a cake even though we were looking so suspicious and idiot leech even said 'nevermind, more cake for us!' right in front of her face accidentally -.-

Crapping with yearmates seriously rock. Especially when dawn's present. Today we managed to trick her into thinking: 1. that xue's a drug addict who injects herself with drugs, which was why she had to wear a jacket, and 2. that the plastic rudolph on xue's logcake was edible (even though it looked and felt just like plastic), which made her pop rudolph in her mouth and suck it. -.-

And lol we were betting on who'd get bfs first. Of course shihua won our votes. And pea's super funny!

pea: I will never get a boyfriend until I become a dentist. Please I don't even like guys now. I look at them and think, omg so UGLY.

chet: later she set up a lezbo club in rj, then spend her time looking up girls' skirts in the mrt!!

Hahaha.

I spent the rest of the day sleeping. Ugh getting fat, getting fat! These holidays are so horrible, the only exercise I'm getting is from walking aimlessly with mel almost every day, no tc, no training. Eee. I don't feel as disciplined as before ):

Haha mel is going to KL for 3 days so I can don't go to work! The tyrannical dinosaur always forces me to wake up early in the morning to work.

Yesterday was so embarrassingly funny! Mel and I came to work dressed almost identically. We were both wearing black shirts, the same black and white belt we bought together, blue jeans, anklets, two rings and flipflops, and we both had our nails some dark reddish colour, though hers was browner than mine. The only difference was that she was shorter than me (HAHA), I tied my hair up and was wearing specs, and my jeans were rolled up. But if this happened just last week, we could have both turned up in red specs and with hair tied, because mel just cut her hair, she was contemplating wearing her (red) specs too!

It was so embarrassing, pls. Especially later on, when we went out after work to Vivo, and mel rolled her jeans up and I let down my hair and we looked so identical (except the height part :D). Everytime we happened to glance into a mirror we'd dissolve in laughter, we looked so much like those lians who go round coordinating their best frenz foreva! look.

And for the whole day we kept jinxing each other and snatching each other lines! Mel's slow though, her thoughts always get snatched by me, and I always manage to jinx her before she can jinx me :D So mel decided not to opine anymore, since I always manage to voice her thoughts before her slow mind can, haha.

Okay I can't stand typing anymore. BYE! Merry early christmas!

Aaaand I haven't been updating for a long time! :D All thanks to work, I can hardly stand the sight of my com (especially bloody typing) after work anymore.

My mum really got me a christmas tree! It's HUUGE. It's 7ft and really pretty, I persuaded my mum to let me do it out in red and gold and she got lights! I'm so happy YAY.

Been hanging around with mel alot these days, because of work. Two days ago mel wasn't up to work, so we skipped work and went to clarke quay to take a walk. Bloody horrible place to take a walk, especially in the afternoon, I tell you. The whole place is overrun with caucasians, who stare at you as if you were the outsider to this country. The gift shops sell thai ethnic stuff as 'christmas gifts that are uniquely singapore'. Like, whatever -.-

Today! Went to work in the morning, then went out for lunch with my family and my aunt who treated us, then went to school for juniors' ttime pract. I am so jealous, the juniors still have ttime practs )): I miss ttime practs. Even if they were almost absolutely horrible, and everyone's pms-y and mean and irritated. Okay when I got so pms-y and mean and irritated. I still rmb when I and chet took turns blowing up at the year! :D Still, the time we got to spend as a year, talking crap and singing crap songs, was so so great. We should have cherished our last ttime more, huh.

It's bad how every small thing can remind me so strongly about rc and make me so sad. Bah. I'm like going through all these redcross stuff again and rembering everything and feeling nostalgic and sad. I was supposed to write down all the tiny details of my life in rc really really long ago, so that I could ~~make it into book and sell it and make money money!~~ remember like when I grow old and forgetful. But uh. I'm a little lazy ):

Anyway so the afternoon was spent watching the juniors perform, playing crap songs, singing crap songs (and ruining them) and playing bridge/daidee! Eyeer playing bridge with yearmates is so unfun, they hardly ever ever bid above 3. But well my class was like, the crazy gambling den of our batch :D

Speaking of gambling den, class party is tomorrow! Must remember to bring my cards! Haha the class is never ever sick of bridge.

Christmas is coming. Yay and boo. Anyway christmas nowadays is hardly even what it's supposed to be about! (no not candycanes and christmas trees and OMG YAY) Christmas isn't even when Christ was born, anyway, just some random date the people picked for convenient's sake SO WHYARE WE SO EXCITED ABOUT IT? CANDYCANES AND CHRISTMAS TREES AND RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER

Rawr. Today's such a horrible day. First I was forced (by tyrannical mel and my mum because she pangseh-ed me) to work from 8 to 5.30 today, which I will rant about later, then I found out my library books were overdue by two days, and now I realise clay's birthday was over two days too ):

Anyway, work. ARGH. My hands. Bloody. Ache. been typing for what, 7 hours nonstop? Competing with mel, actually (see how competion can be bad for health) but gave up cause I was super dizzy and had a headache AND the bloody articles were in Malay. How can they make us type in Malay when we don't know Malay! But yeah typed quite fast already, mel and I earned about 60 bucks today! My hands are now trembly and I really shouldn't be staring at the com and typing again.

Christmas is coming! Oh no. I'm still super confused about my christmas schedule! I was supposed to be out celebrating with mel and co, but then my mum started talking about celebrating christmas at home so we had to change it to christmas eve, then my mum wanted me to go back to visit my old church on sunday, which I was rather looking forward to since I haven't been there for 6 years, and now I realise sunday IS christmas eve! ): BUT I WANT TO GO OUT WITH MEL AND CO, mel and I've already made up such lovely plans for all of us to spend the festive dayy.

Oh ahahaha I just realised I won't be spending the whole day at church so I can do both.

I SHALL ONLY VEX MYSELF WITH THE PLANS A FEW DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS :D

AND MY MUM PROMISED TO BUY A CHRISTMAS TREE FOR THE HOUSE. WE'RE GOING TOMORROW! I'M EXCITED CAN YOU TELL? I HAVEN'T HAD A BIG ONE SINCE WE MOVED HOUSE WHEN I WAS P6.

AND I HAVEN'T BOUGHT CHRISTMAS CARDS YET.

There's soooo much to do before christmas arrives! :D

Thinking about it makes me feel tired. I shall go rest. BYE.
